The newly developed and patented SEDA Shock Absorber Drilling Machine brings cutting edge technology to the modern automotive recycler.
The SEDA-DrillMatic has set a new standard in the area of shock absorber drainage. An innovative grip system attaches the drilling device to the shock absorber with only one brief touch. Designed for easy handling, it saves valuable operator time. The fully automated drilling and fluid evacuation process is initiated by a mere touch of a button. A suction impulse station provides the required suction-pressure automation allowing the user to address other processes.
Once the evacuation is completed the grip is detached and the drilling machine removed.

The SEDA-DrillMatic is a turn-key, fully contained unit allowing a rapid drainage of all common shock absorber types including pressurized dampers. The low weight and compact style of the Drilling Unit allows a simplified work process without the need to remove the shock absorbers from the vehicle.
The supplied pneumatic recoil (impulse) unit automatically applies vacuum-pressure to achieve maximum liquid fluid drainage. To extract any remaining fluid on the bottom of the absorber shaft a small suction hose is inserted through the drilled hole. The drill warrants a constant bore with the drill hole being filled with SEDA closing plugs once completed.
