About us
SEDA-Umwelttechnik GmbH is a ISO9001 certified company and specialized to develop, manufacture and sell End-of-Life Vehicle de-pollution technology, stations and special tools for the car recycling industry. As an international company SEDA´s manufacturing and administrative headquarter are located in Tyrol, Austria. With 25 employees and an excellent Distribution-Network, SEDA-Umwelttechnik GmbH is an successful mid-size ranged company.

History
History
In 1967, after several successful years working for Mercedes Benz in Stuttgart, Germany, Josef Dagn retourned back to his rural home town of Koessen, Austria and rented a small garage. In 1970 he started a radiator repair service for both modern and vintage cars.1980 saw the development of the first SEDA plug, which has now been sold over 200.000 times. In the same year he also presented a complete radiator test system at the Automechanika traid fair in Frankfurt, Germany.
After expanding the garage Mr Dagn concentrated on developing devices and special tools for the cars of reputable enterprises in the automotive Industry such as Mercedes Benz, Vauxhall, VW, Renault, General Motors, Volvo, Peugeot, Nissan, Ford, Seat, MAN and the German automobile club ADAC. In 1984 SEDA expanded again when SEDA of America was grounded in New York. 1991, after the development of a SEDA built Sportscar, the AC cobra replica which won a lot of awards, Josef Dagn built the first coolant recycling machine in. By the end of 1993 the development of the worlds first complete vehicle drainage system was completed.
Seda developed their research and development department which continued to refine existing products as well producing innovative new ones. The SEDA products were very well received in the USA. In 1999 SEDA of America was changed to SEDA Environmental Inc and the headquarters was moved to St. Petersburgh in Florida.
2001 was the year that first SEDA Environmental Days was took place. A plattform where customers, SEDA, the automotive and recycling industry meet to, discuss new Ideas, standards and products. In 2003 SEDA changed to SEDA-Umwelttechnik GmbH. Due to great success in the Netherlands, SEDA Environmental Benelux B.V. was founded. Seda Benelux is working towards installing 250 SEDA Systems in the Netherlands. At the same time the European destribution network has increased substantially to include motivated partners in 17 countries.
Due to rapid expansion a new production hall with dedicated show and conference room was opened in Ebbs and the 2nd environmental days took place. In the same year SEDA proudly presents the first completely mobile drainage station built in to a container.
A company with over 15 years of experience and a highly motivated, knowlidgeable team, SEDA´s future looks bright. Seda will continue to advance and refine their ELV drainage technology as well as introducing unique, inovate products to dismantlers world wide through their ever expanding distribution network.
